1. Eligibility & Guardian Responsibility
- Age requirement: you must be at least 18 years old, or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account and act as a Primary Guardian.
- Child profile management: children may not register independently. Parents and legal guardians are solely responsible for creating, managing, and supervising all linked child profiles.
2. Nature of Service & Rewards
Habitopia is an organizational and gamified habit-building tool for families.
Critical notice on virtual currency and rewards: in-game items, virtual coins, XP, badges, and cosmetics have no real-world monetary value. They cannot be exchanged for legal tender or transferred outside the app. Habitopia does not provide, fulfill, or deliver physical prizes, cash, gift cards, or real-world rewards. Any such rewards are managed and fulfilled independently by parents or guardians.
3. Premium Subscriptions & Store Billing
Billing & Renewal
- Subscriptions are billed directly to your Apple ID or Google Play account upon purchase confirmation.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is disabled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Cancellation
- iOS: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > Habitopia > Cancel Subscription.
- Android: Google Play Store > Profile > Payments & Subscriptions > Subscriptions > Habitopia > Cancel.
Refunds
Habitopia does not issue direct refunds. All refund requests are governed exclusively by Apple App Store or Google Play Store policies.
4. Acceptable Use
Users agree to use Habitopia lawfully and respectfully. You may not use offensive or inappropriate language in custom content, reverse engineer or extract source code, or bypass parental PIN controls or security protocols. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines without prior notice.
5. Intellectual Property
All rights, titles, and interests in Habitopia—including its name, logos, artwork, graphics, characters, source code, and gamification design—are the exclusive property of [INSERT COMPANY OR CONTACT NAME]. No ownership rights are transferred through app usage.
6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
- “AS IS” basis: Habitopia is provided without warranties of any kind.

- Liability cap: to the fullest extent permitted by law, total cumulative liability will not exceed the amount paid by the user for Premium subscriptions in the 12 months before a claim.
