What is Habitopia and how does it organize household chores for families?
Habitopia is a mobile app for families that turns daily routines and household chores into missions. As a guardian you create weekly missions and define rewards; your children complete them, earn coins and experience (XP), and care for a digital companion that evolves with their effort. It builds autonomy and consistency with fewer arguments about tidying up at home.
From what age can children use Habitopia?
Habitopia supports child profiles from age 3. The interface adapts by date of birth: under 7 uses Little ones mode (simple visuals and large buttons); from age 7, Junior mode (lists by time blocks and more autonomy). Coin rewards are also adjusted by age on approval.
When are coins and XP credited after a mission?
When a child marks a mission done, rewards are not granted instantly: the mission waits in your Approvals tab. After you confirm it was done well in real life and approve it, coins and XP are added. If you reject it, it returns to pending.
More detail in the manual: Tasks and approvals.
What are coins and XP for in Habitopia?
Coins are earned when missions are approved and spent on Magic Chest cosmetics or real family rewards. XP raises the companion’s level and unlocks visual evolutions; it is never spent and never goes down.
See numbers and bonuses in the Rewards guide.
How do I invite another adult to manage the same family?
You can add mom, dad, grandparents, or caregivers with a QR code from Dashboard → Devices. Co-guardians can view and manage missions, approvals, and redemptions in real time from their own phones.
Steps in the manual: Family and children.
What are family rewards and how does a guardian set them up?
They are real-world rewards you define in the Rewards tab (movie night, ice cream, extra screen time, and more): title, description, and coin cost. When the child redeems from the Magic Chest, coins are deducted and the request appears in Redemptions so you can confirm delivery.
See the manual: Rewards and redemptions and the Rewards guide.
How are streaks and consistency bonuses calculated?
The streak counts consecutive days where the child completed all missions on time (based on when they marked them done). A perfect day adds a +10% coin bonus for that day; every 30, 60, 90… perfect days grants 50 extra coins and medals.
Full detail in the Rewards guide.
How do I pause Habitopia for vacation or shared custody without breaking the streak?
You can pause task templates (one task or all for a child) so no missions are generated those days, or forgive a single day on the activity calendar. In both cases the day is treated as neutral and does not reset the streak.

Why does Habitopia need an internet connection?
Habitopia needs an active connection to securely sync progress, coins, companion evolution, approvals, and redemptions across all family devices.
